1. Eye Contact is Key (But Don't Overdo It, Creep!):

Lock eyes with your date, but don't forget to blink (and look away occasionally). Hold your date's gaze for a few seconds at a time. You want to show interest, not obsession!

2. Ask Open-Ended Questions (And Actually Listen to the Answers!):

Ditch the small talk and ask questions that start with "what," "how," or "why." And for the love of all things good, actually listen to what your date has to say! Share personal anecdotes by showing vulnerability and create a connection by sharing your own stories.

3. Lean in, Baby! (But Not Too Close, Personal Space Matters!):

Show you're engaged and interested by leaning in when your date is speaking. Just don't invade their personal space – we don't want any awkwardness! Find excuses to sit or stand close, like sharing a menu or looking at something together.

4. Body Language is Everything (So Stand Up Straight and Own It!):

Uncross those arms and stand up straight! You'll look confident and approachable (and who doesn't love a confident person?). Also, comment on your date's body language, like "you have a beautiful smile" or "Your eyes sparkle when you laugh."

5. Find Your Common Ground (And Don't Pretend to Like Something Just to Impress!):

Discover what you both love, and you'll be laughing and joking like old friends in no time! Just don't pretend to like something just to impress – it's okay to have different interests!

Also, share interests or experiences to build a bond.

6. Playful Teasing is a Must (But Don't Take It Too Far, Meanie!):

Lighten the mood with some playful jokes and teasing. Just don't take it too far – we don't want any hurt feelings! Lighthearted, playful jokes can create a flirtatious atmosphere.

7. Active Listening is Attractive (So Put Down Your Phone and Pay Attention!): Show you value what your date is saying by actively listening and responding thoughtfully. And for the love of all things good, put down your phone! Active listening also expresses your interest in your date's thoughts and opinions.

8. Touch Can Spark Chemistry (But Don't Overdo It, Creep!):

A light touch on the arm or a playful nudge can create a spark of attraction. A casual touch can create a sense of intimacy. Just don't overdo it – let's keep things comfortable!

9. Be Your Amazing Self (And Don't Try to Be Someone You're Not!):

Authenticity is attractive, so don't try to be someone you're not. Embrace your quirks and individuality – they make you, you!

10. Smile, Baby, Smile! (And Mean It!):

A genuine smile can go a long way in showing your interest and friendliness. Just make sure it's a genuine smile – we can spot a fake from a mile away!

Quick read and informative. Some of the points that have fetched some interesting connections have indeed included asking open-ended questions, uncrossing my arms, and definitely putting down my phone. Doing some of these things make me more approachable and engaging especially in a technologically-driven world.
